Waiting for Harper… the woodlands maternity photographer

A few months ago Kristina called me from California to ask me if I would photograph her maternity session while she was in town for her baby shower. I, of course, said “yes!” Once we started planning their session she mentioned wanting to keep it more modern and fresh and incorporate things that she and her husband liked to do for fun. Keeping a great style to the photographs was also important to her. I knew that market street in the Woodlands would be perfect with it’s great textures and fashion forward backdrops like Tiffany & co. We planned a session based on what they might typically do on a weekend morning, sitting and enjoying their time together, her with a fashion magazine and him with his iPad. A clever little detail Kristina incorporated was the use of items with Harper’s (her soon to arrive baby girl) name on them… like Harper’s Bazaar and To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee. We really focused on them as a couple as they waited and prepared for such an exciting time in their lives. It was such a fun session! I hope you enjoy the sneak peak…
