I haven’t had the chance to blog this session yet. It was actually from a few weeks ago. The cute little boy you see here in the photo was playing with my newest prop, an antique fire engine pedal car at the end of the session, you can tell it was a fun session as his cheeks were pink from all the fun! While he was playing with the car and pulling on the string that connects the bell to the steering wheel, the string snapped! He totally thought he was in deep trouble for breaking the string… hence the super cute and shocked expression in the first photo. After we told him it was, “sooo not a big deal” he relaxed and laughed about it… which is what you see in the second photo! One of my favorite things to do, is to capture real, true and genuine emotions and expressions from children when I photograph them. Not only does it tell a story, but it shows their personalities at that point in time.
