Remember last month when I posted about a project I was working on with other photographers from around the world? Well, it’s that time again!!! I love participating in this project because I enjoy seeing how my fellow photographer friends interpret each theme and I’m pretty excited be included in a circle of some pretty fabulously talented ladies. This month’s theme was sweetness and love. Fitting theme for the month of February. You may have seen this image before on my blog, as I took it mid-feburary, but I thought it was the best representation of sweetness or love that I have from this month.
My parents lost their boxer a few months ago and explaining that to my four year old might have been one of the hardest things I’ve had to do as a parent so far. Roxie was, in her own words, the best friend she’s ever had. She was beside herself with the news that her best friend had gone to heaven with God. My parents have since adopted a new boxer puppy who Maddie helped name Gracie. They were fast friends and I have no doubt my little girl’s heart has been healed… the love and sweetness in these photos were perfect to me for this month’s theme.
