Gah, this beautiful baby girl has THE most amazing eyes! I don’t know how it happens that all of my clients are always so cute and fun to work with but I am most definitely a lucky girl! Meet Miss Giuliana, she is such a sweet baby girl, which really shouldn’t be a surprise since both of her parents are some of the most kind people that I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Downtown Morning Fun… Houston Child Photographer

I have several families that I work with over the course of the year as I help them to document their babies as they grow… that said this sweet family has been such a pleasure to work with and I cannot get enough of their sweet baby boy! Hehe… this was Henry’s first year session that we did at the crack of dawn a few weeks ago downtown! He has the most adorable personality and is so much fun to photograph! I also am obsessed, just a teeny bit, with his gorgeous hair and eyes. When I photographed him as a newborn he actually almost had a mohawk, this kid was born with loads of personality! I also happen to adore his mom and dad, they are the sweetest family and I’ve have truly loved helping them to document Henry’s first year! I can’t wait to see him as he continues to grow! Something new… Houston Child Photographer

I’ve been wanting to try this for a while and I had the opportunity a couple months ago. So after teaching myself Premiere pro (video editing software), this is my first shot at doing a fusion video! What is fusion, you ask? It’s a mixture of both still images and clips of video merged together in one short film. I am now offering these as part of a collection, if you are interested don’t hesitate to call or email me! It is a ton of fun to create!

beach time… houston family photographer

Eeek!! It’s warm now here in Houston and spring is in full effect, finally… or least I hope. A couple weekends ago we had the beach mini sessions in Galveston, while I did have a small incident with a camera I was able to shoot at least one family. Sooo… I will be going back May 19th to shoot more and to schedule those who didn’t get their sessions in April. A few weeks ago I had my annual bluebonnet family mini sessions in Roundtop Texas at a beautiful location!! Spring time in Texas is easily one of my favorite times of year to enjoy as well as shoot, especially in the hill country! Sugar Sweet… Houston baby photographer

This is miss M… she’s very near and dear to my heart since she belongs to of my very old friends. I adore their little family and each time I get to photograph Miss M (which has been four times over the last year) her little personality has grown and she is so much like her sweet mama! That said, I know she is also a daddy’s girl and that she is very much loved by everyone. How could she not be!? Do you see those beautiful eyes and smile!? The highchair she is in, her grandfather refinished for her first birthday and he did a spectacular job on it! I love how they put so much thought into everything to celebrate Miss M’s big birthday!!! Lots of love to you S family! Enjoy the first of two sneak peeks from her first birthday! xoxo

I know the blog has been a bit slow these days… I have been busy working, but haven’t been able to keep up with the blogging. To be 100% honest I have been dealing with some personal matters that I will probably write about in the next week or so… Until then, here is one of my most favorite toddlers that I’ve been lucky enough to photograph several times over the course of his first year! I recently got a lensbaby composer pro with the sweet 35 optic and I just now today had a few minutes to try it out. To say that I love it is an understatement. I cannot wait to take this to the beach I can’t even begin to imagine the awesomeness that I will be able to get with this new lens! Here’s a quick shot from this afternoon of my daughter sleeping, I waited to try it out until I had a still subject so that I could get used to the way that the lens works. I actually found it WAY easier than I thought it would be and could kick myself for not getting ahold of one of these sooner….
