We sat down to write our letter to Santa finally. M’s letter went something like this:
Dear Santa, please bring me a toy puppy and candy. I love you. Thank you, M.
She is growing up so quickly, she wrote the entire letter on her own with me spelling out the words for her as she went. Then once she finished writing it, she read over it to make sure it was right and included the “candy” in her list. Silly girl. After that she stuffed it in a envelope, sealed it with a kiss and put it in our “magical” stocking that transports letters to and from Santa. I love how excited she is about Christmas and how it is all so amazing and wonderful. Seeing Christmas through a child’s eyes is truly a gift.
