Last minute… Houston Photography Classes

Coming in March 2013, I will be teaching a newly structured class at my studio for parents that are wanting to take their camera out of auto and into manual to get better photos of their children or even grand babies. It will be similar to my one-day class however, it will be spread out for a month. We will meet once a week for two hours and there will also be assignments that are given and covered the next class meeting. During the course of the class the students will learn how to take their camera out of auto mode and use the manual settings such as ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed to achieve the proper exposure for many different lighting situations. We will, on one day, also have a model to practice on. The class includes a workbook as well as lots of hands on practice and assignments that will compliment each lesson. Once the class has completed you will also have access to the facebook group for continued learning.

After this course has completed, I will also be adding on photoshop and lightroom courses for post processing techniques as well as more intermediate classes for those who want to take their skills to the next level. Over the summer… there will be a really fun photography camp for middle school to high school aged students! For more information please send me an email at jennifer@jenniferdellphotography.com . A few months ago I hired the wonderful people over at A&A Video to help me create a video that would show you a little bit more about me and how I work and why I chose to be a photographer. Welllll… I finally got the completed video and I’m so very excited to share it with everyone today!!! I want to tell the families that were there with us thank you as well as our very generous hostess!!! They were so sweet and wonderful and we had such a great time filming this…

P.S…. I’m totally uncomfortable in front of a video camera and I’m a big dork. ;o)

Getting Close… Tomball Family Photographer

We’re getting so close to wrapping up the renovations at the new studio in Tomball. I’m excited that it’s all coming together and even more excited to open my doors officially next tuesday. We still have lots to do and most of this week will be spent moving in and setting up… but I wanted to share a little sneak peak of what’s coming… there used to be a kitchen here and in case you didn’t believe me, I included a before photo of this area in the studio. It still needs the molding put in and painted and needs the window treatments and what not, but it’s almost done!!! Cannot wait to share it with everyone!
