Gah, this beautiful baby girl has THE most amazing eyes! I don’t know how it happens that all of my clients are always so cute and fun to work with but I am most definitely a lucky girl! Meet Miss Giuliana, she is such a sweet baby girl, which really shouldn’t be a surprise since both of her parents are some of the most kind people that I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I have several families that I work with over the course of the year as I help them to document their babies as they grow… that said this sweet family has been such a pleasure to work with and I cannot get enough of their sweet baby boy! Hehe… this was Henry’s first year session that we did at the crack of dawn a few weeks ago downtown! He has the most adorable personality and is so much fun to photograph! I also am obsessed, just a teeny bit, with his gorgeous hair and eyes. When I photographed him as a newborn he actually almost had a mohawk, this kid was born with loads of personality! I also happen to adore his mom and dad, they are the sweetest family and I’ve have truly loved helping them to document Henry’s first year! I can’t wait to see him as he continues to grow! Sugar Sweet… Houston baby photographer

This is miss M… she’s very near and dear to my heart since she belongs to of my very old friends. I adore their little family and each time I get to photograph Miss M (which has been four times over the last year) her little personality has grown and she is so much like her sweet mama! That said, I know she is also a daddy’s girl and that she is very much loved by everyone. How could she not be!? Do you see those beautiful eyes and smile!? The highchair she is in, her grandfather refinished for her first birthday and he did a spectacular job on it! I love how they put so much thought into everything to celebrate Miss M’s big birthday!!! Lots of love to you S family! Enjoy the first of two sneak peeks from her first birthday! xoxo

I know the blog has been a bit slow these days… I have been busy working, but haven’t been able to keep up with the blogging. To be 100% honest I have been dealing with some personal matters that I will probably write about in the next week or so… Until then, here is one of my most favorite toddlers that I’ve been lucky enough to photograph several times over the course of his first year! This was a combination one year session and cake smash. Check out his awesome hair and beautiful baby blues!

I have had the privilege of photographing this little guy several times over the last year! It all started with his mom’s maternity session, then his newborn session and of course family photos in the fall! This time, it was to celebrate his 1st year! I cannot tell you how much I love getting to watch my little clients grow up and being a part of their lives like this. It means so much to me that my clients trust me to help them preserve these little moments. It was so nice to see you all again D family and I look forward to many more sessions with y’all in the future!

well, hello there, sunshine… houston baby photographer

This is the first time I have meet Miss H… I photographed her mama’s maternity photos when she was pregnant, but since they live in California I wasn’t able to photograph her newborn session. So, when they called and said they were coming in for the Holidays and asked if I could shoot, I, of course, said YES! I was so excited to meet H and see her sweet family again. I always love working with them and even though it was dreary (and I mean awful) weather with hardly a glimpse of the sun, we decided to shoot. There was no way I was letting them get back on that plane to California without getting some pictures of H, can you blame me?! She has to be one of the happiest six month olds I’ve ever met… have I told y’all how much I LOVE this age? Enjoy the sneak peek E family and I cannot wait to see you again this spring!

Also, Tomorrow I will be posting in a blog ring that I’m participating in with several other amazing photographers, so be on the lookout for that! I will also be sending out the first email for registering for the new photography classes this spring! There will be one that is a half day and one where we meet once a week for a month! I’m really excited about the classes that I’m adding to the line up this year including photoshop courses and advanced photography classes.

I really cannot believe that we are only a few short days from Christmas and starting a new year. 2012 has been full of growth, love, challenges, creativity, new adventures and some pretty amazing clients. I’ve been very blessed to spend the last year photographing some of Houston’s most lovely families and their children. For this, I am incredibly thankful. I started out thinking I would post this blog as a top 12 of 2012, but I started going through the last 52 weeks worth of images and I could not narrow it down, no matter how hard I tried! Sooooo… instead of doing that, I thought maybe I would just do a little recap from all the sessions I had this year with my lovely clients. Your trust in me to capture your family and memories has been a wonderful honor and I’m so blessed to call you my clients/friends/and now some are even like family. Thank you for a fabulous 2012 and I wish you all joy and happiness this Holiday Season, may you be surrounded by your families and much love! I look forward to an even better (if that’s possible) 2013! xoxo

Meet little Liam, this was his first birthday mini session and we also shot a few for the Holiday card while we were out! Such a contagious grin, even at 7am on a super chilly morning! I will get to see him again in April for my beach mini sessions in Galveston, cannot wait!
