The Way I View… New Beginnings

I am a member of the Clickin Mom’s and their CMpro team. A group of us are getting together every month to post a unique image. Each month the image will reflect “the way I view…” This month’s theme is New Beginnings. I chose to photograph one of my daughter’s princess books… you know, the whole “Once upon a time….” Every night when we read books in our house it’s a princess book (since Grayson doesn’t know how to articulate he’d rather read about baseball or trucks or dogs) and I love the line “once upon a time…” I think it holds a certain innocence and magicalness – yes, I’m making up new words – and to a little girl, obsessed with all things princess, it is the ultimate new beginning… so while technically this is the way she views new beginnings, I can’t help as an adult, to remember when those little words also were magical to me and definitely meant that a new beginning was on the horizon.
