One of my most favorite things to do with photography is to tell a story. I love the details and I enjoy it when I have the opportunity to use the details to help my clients relive a moment. When we were at the beach shooting this session, Abby found a lobster. At first we weren’t sure if was a lobster, a shrimp or something along the lines of a crawfish. After a quick iPhone research (thank goodness for technology!) we determined it was actually a baby lobster. While we were shooting Abby kept her baby lobster, which she named Tilapia, in a little pail. She carried him everywhere and it was adorable. When it came time to leave she had wanted to take Tilapia with her, however that wasn’t what her parents had in mind. So, we decided to photograph her setting Tilapia free so that she could have the photos as a little souvenir of her trip to the beach where she made a new little lobster friend. It was very sweet, here are the photos…
